For an increase in power , whci brand of carb and size is recommended . I dont want anything to technical to muck around with ...just bolt on rejet and go ...........

I have CDI , slip on and air filter ...want some more power ...will carb be the next best mod ???? or do i need to do other things with it ....

forget gearing and tyres ...these change all the time depending on the type of riding on the day

I would get call Ron Woods and order the Makuni tm45 kit. with the carb mount filer. That way you can go back and forth with filer set ups depending on what the ridding conditions are. Also the carb mount filter on the 45 is worth a couple more HP. This set up was the single largest power gain in my quest for mods. So far any way[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Eaglecollector , if i was to do the tm 45 carb only without the carb mount filter , would i still see a large increase in performance ...also is this an easy mod ...no stiff thumb throttle or any issues like that ...... ??? also how much is the tm45 >>???

Check ebay for the 45, a tm or hsr will work. I've seen one on there for $288. Also you can go with a Lectron 44mm for about $240
