Default Bombardier Manual

I would just like to tell everybody ( OR WARN ) how much of a POS the bombardier manual is. The only part with any detail is the technical DATA section. At a $80 pricetag I was hesitant to get it in the first place now I wish I could give it back. And no pictures like the previouis clymers I've owned. I just felt like warning everybody before they pay $80. THIS FOROUM IS MUCH MORE HELPFUL. THANKS GUYS

I agree that the info can be somewhat limited. However, you have to understand it's intended audience. It's written as a shop manual for technitions, not end users. It assumes that the tech already knows the standard practices and procedures. all it basicly is, is an assembly/disassembly and maintainance guide.

exploded view pictorial at the beginning of each chapter, torque specs, tolerances, loc-tite requirements, all there. it is fairly technical orientated though, I agree.
$80?!?!? Dude, my dealer only charged me $50!

I agree with those who say that this forum is helpful. It is EXTREMELY Helpful. I have received detailed advice and diagrams from other members that have been the best help yet. There are some very gifted people here that have done anything and everything to the DS and can tell you how to do it.

Thanks again to all the people who have given me advice.
