01 Rubicon how tall a tire can I put on?

Question for you slab. Did you have any problems with the jet kit you installed? I just installed a Dynojet kit and a K&N filter, but I am having problems with the jet kit. No matter what grove I put the c-clip on, it runs rough after idle. Can you advise?
thanks

about the jet kit i had the local honda shop do it becuase i was working a lot and didnt have time. it is just a little rough when you first go but you have to do like 2 or 3 miles an hour to notice. and about the locker, yes it does like advertisied. it makes the steering just a little harder but not to much. anything over 10mph and you probably wont even notice. it was neat to see the front wheels turning together when i climbed the rutted hill close to here. when one wheel left the ground it didnt spin out, it just acted as if nothing happened. i feel it was worth the money, but opinions vary

im thinking about some 26's also, but i need a tire that can perform on my Rubicon when I ride with my friends who have sport quads but I also need the tire to stand up to abuse while hunting and traveling to crazy remote spots with slate grannete biteing at the rims

the locker isnt real hard to install. if you want to view the instructions go to http://www.highlifter.com/installpdf...s-Locker-2.pdf and read that, it helps because you know what to expect ahead of time and there isnt as many surprises. the most aggravating part about the locker installation was keeping it together while you put it in the differential and bolted it together because it has 4 springs that had to be compressed while the cap is bolted back on. be sure to have some locktite BLUE not red. red is industrial and takes special procedures to take back loose.
you have to take the lower balljoints loose on both sides and you have to take the axles loose. then you have to pull the axles out of the diff. there are 3 bolts that hold it in place and they were locktited at the factory so have a good 3/8 or 1/2 drive rachet handy.
the outlaws that i bought have rim guards made in. the rim is about a half inch below the tire and would take some effort to get a rock to the rim. these tires grab with tenacity and will get traction on about anything and have a good ride at 5mph and above. hope this helps
