I've got a 2002 Rancher and I was wondering approximately how far I can go on reserve fuel. So far I haven't tempted fate, but it would be kind of nice to know when I'm a fair distance from home and nearing empty!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

put a five gallon can of gas on the rack and run it dry. then you'll know for sure.

 

I think that if you drive kind of easy it would get 25+miles on reserve being a 350 with about one gallon reserve in the tank.

 

I have run the reserve out, and it probably runs for about an hour or 2. That was not top speed trail riding though, lots of idle time and putting around the yard. Dont really have much time w/o gas on trails, Its smart to fill up before you leave.
