What is the best muffler for a 300ex

the white bros. e-series or
the FMF MEGAMAX II

 

I just ordered a FMF megamax II for my 300ex. It should be here next week, then i'll let you know. Price was what made me go with the FMF. The FMF was $199 with a header, while the e-series is aprox. $230 without the header

I don't know if this will help or not, but I have the FMF MegaMax II on my 400EX. I really like it. It gives pretty noticeable low-end and midrange power. It isn't that loud either (if sound matters to you, you'll like that).

 

I just bought a e-series pipe no header yet gotta wait til may 17 thats what white bros said.My freind has a fmfwuith header for like 250.00Just the back part of the e-series was240 with no quit core and no header.Right now my buddys same weight and everything but i dont have my head pipe yet.My opinion if u cant spend alot get the fmfi think it will be the same either way.

 

i have one on my 300 ex and i love it. it gives alot of low end and midrange power. i think its worth the money.

 

i want something loud caus my friend has a blaster with a fmf fatty gold series with a power core 2 and his sounds like a mountain lion and mine with the stock crap sounds like a baby kitten , so is the megamax 2 nice en loud?
