Default ds 650 vortex CDI

I am looking at buying a vortex CDI for my DS and would like to know how well they work. If anyone uses one let me know how good or bad it is.

can you actually "feel" a difference in performance over your last CDI? is it worth the upgrade from a pami box?

Sandman,

What I've heard is that you set a 'default' power curve, and there is a switch you mount on the handlebars to switch to an alternative power curve - which you pre select with a small dial. I'm really liking the idea of the Vortex CDI, now I've just got to find the best price.

AZSand,

Who is Jr? Does he work at Vortex or the retailer you bought your Vortex CDIs from?

I think by Jr. he is talking about his son.

I'm also interested in this CDI, not only for the cuves but the ajustable rev limiter.

I have a habit of missing shifts and think setting it just below 10,000 would be nice!
