200 lb man on Blaster??
#1
I know a kid who wants to get a blaster but he doesnt know if he should go with something bigger because he weighs 200 lb. Should he go with a bashee or warrior. He wants a blaster because of the price. What Do you guys think?

i weigh about 189. and i am thinking about getting one. i also want it for the price but i don't think it will remain a 195cc for very long. i have ridding a blaster and it did just fine. you have to keep in min that they are a 2 stroke and do have more hp than a 300ex. i used to have a 230 quadsport and i did just fine with me on it except the shocks bottomed out a lot but blasters have pretty decent shocks.

I just got mine yesterday. I weigh 194(i lost a pound!) and i'm 6'0
I am not cramped, i feel like i have plenty of room. The 4-wheeler doesn't pay any attention to me on the back. It runs like it's crazy.
Totally stock execpt for jetting and DG pipe, and silencer.

I am 6'0 205 and my Y2k Blaster smokes every Four Stroke I have owned, fun Trail Riding Maching. I enjoy the machine the only limitations I have found or the rear brakes and no reverse other than that it is a fun trail riding bike and very high reving and peppy. The 195 CC runs circles around my Fourtrax. I like the Blaster very well...Hope you get one and enjoy it

You have to take into consideration it isnt fair to run a s-stroker against a 4-stroke 4X4 also....Ofcourse a two stroke will smoke a 4-stroke 4X4. I have tore up a Blaster with my Warrior. I weigh 185 lbs and the kid I raced against weighed like 100 lbs. Just a suggestion to detail. I think the more weight the more stronger suspension and engine you should have....just my opinion. =-)

With my riding gear I'm a little over 200 lbs. and im 6'4"
The only problem I ever had was the rear shock started to get weaker over the years and I added a +4in swingarm which made it a little worse. I just got it revalved by PEP, but haven't been able to try it out. (rebuilding my crank) It does have a good feel on the bike and you cant bottom it by pushing down on it like a stock shock. Cant wait to give it a try.
