OK ... I just put in new springs and a clutch plates. the lever will no budge.

I read the other and he never said if that solved his problem.

At first when I put it together it would not butt up ... then I thought that I aligned the lever and gear and it went on fine.

But now it will not budge.

Any thoughts .... as for the springs they are at proper tension. And yes the guy at Alba is a @#$ you would break something if your tried to compress those springs by using the bolt.

Everything that Hightower and Bigbaja told brad650 is what you need to check. It shoulds as if you have the same prob. The plastic spline must line up correctly. Pull the case off and do it again.
