Grizzly 600 Backfires in Reverse
#1
A friend of mine has a Grizzly 600 (a 2000 I think). Every time he puts it in reverse, it backfires really loud. Checked the carb boot and sprayed for intake leaks, there are none. I read some posts on here that the newer 660 Grizzlys have a reverse rev limiter and that sputtering and backfiring are common. Does the 600 have the same rev limiter? How do I bypass it on a 600?

You have to push the override button or it is limited to something around 5mph (I think). On the 660 griz it also limits your forward speed to 22mph in 4wd diff lock.
