Default Need help buying a quad...

Hey. I am 15, and looking at buying a new quad. I have been debating between the DS650, Raptor, and Predator. I don't know what to get. All of them have their good points. At first, I wanted the DS650, because it has the highest top speed, and most horsepower. But it is also big. Some people have said this is a good thing, and some people have said that this is a bad thing. I have ridden my friend's Predator, and I thought it had really nice throttle response, and mind-blowing top-end. But I have not ridden anything to compare this to. I know of two Predators that are around, and I know of another person that will be buying one. Because of this, I am looking at the Raptor. Could you guys help me, and would the Raptor be worth buying??

raptor is quicker than a predator. but, predator has some nice suspension on it. the ds has a lot of travel, and im not too sure on speed, and power. others will have to tell ya that one.

Will this be your first sport quad?? If so I reccomend getting a used 400ex or a kawasuki 400. Either way you can save helluva lot of $$$$ buying used v.s. new.

Yes, it will be my first sport quad, but I don't want to buy a used one. I am not worried about the money, I have like 3 or 4 jobs. I am not worried about buying a car, so I will use the money for a new ATV. I have a lot of experience riding ATV's, just none of my own. I live in a small town, so I want a sport ATV to go riding with out in the country and things like that with all of my friends that already have ATV's. I know for sure I want to buy a new one, because then you have the warrenty, and you don't have to worry about what the previous owner has done to the quad.

If you can get your hands on a DS and a Raptor for a test ride, that would be ideal. I'm sure any of the three will be great. As far as I am concerned, you can't really go wrong with any of them. Of the three, the predator is the least tested because it is relatively new. Buy whatever you can get the best price on!
