is the clutch basket right or left hand thred?

i was trying to drill out a clutch bolt i broke off and it started going in so i just let it go all the way in so it would drop into the center of where all the discs are well... i was wrong. what was left of the clutch spring bolt went all the way in and it fell in behind the basket... can i leave it in there?? if not what thred is the big nut (1 and 1/6th)
cause it needs to come off to get the broke bolt out. help please!

i dont think theres any room, it looks like where it fell is hollow? and i wanna know for sure if its right of left, but thanks [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Take out your magnet and go fishing like bigben suggested. I dropped one of my valve shims down the area where the chain runs down to the crank and was able to retrive it with a screwdriver magnet thing. Best bet is to get out you magnet and a whole lot of patience. Either that or you can take all the plates and basket off. But under no circumstances should you just leave it in there.

it threded all the way through the basket and fell out of the back of the basket!, can i get in there with a mangnet?

Im not exactly sure. Im gonna do my clutch springs next weekend. I would ASSume that if it fell in there you should be able to get it back out, but I could be wrong. Whatever you do dont leave it in there.

it was in the hole, and it kept turning and spun too far and went through and fell insidethe basket somewhere so i need to take the basket off and get it out! and i need to know what thred it is!!!
