Is there enough room to go fishin' with a magnet?
I'd guess that big nut is RH thread, but don't quote me on that.

You absolutely have to get it out, that little piece will trash your motor if you leave it in.

Take out your magnet and go fishing like bigben suggested. I dropped one of my valve shims down the area where the chain runs down to the crank and was able to retrive it with a screwdriver magnet thing. Best bet is to get out you magnet and a whole lot of patience. Either that or you can take all the plates and basket off. But under no circumstances should you just leave it in there.

Im not exactly sure. Im gonna do my clutch springs next weekend. I would ASSume that if it fell in there you should be able to get it back out, but I could be wrong. Whatever you do dont leave it in there.
