I have a 2003 Raptor and if you grap the rear shock and try to twist it, it seams to have some play, more play than I am comfortable with, does anyone else have this problem or is it normal on the raptors! Thanks for your help!!

 

Mine r perfect... They dont twist at all? Do they tighten at all or what? Just let me know and maybe I can help out a bit...

mine if I grab them and twist them they will twist about .5 inch!!

 

Well if I could talk any of you into going out and grabbing your rear shock and trying to twist it a little bit and see if it has some play, mine will move about a half of an inch. Thanks for taking the time to check, if know one else's shock moves I will take it to the shop and have them fix it!!

I have an '02 and my rear shock twists too... I assumed it was normal. Is it???

 

This is normal. Your rear shock has ball type bushings in it on both end which allow it to twist some. Forgetaboutit.
