Default Hot and Cold Plugs???

What is the difference between a Hot and Cold plug? I have a 96 warrior that doesn't want to start when it is hot. I put in a new plug and it fires right up. do i need a hotter plug or a cold plug???

Default Hot and Cold Plugs???

Heat rang on a plug is the amount of gap between the insolator and the threads when looking at it from the electrode. This just allows the plug to cool faster or keep more heat in the plug if its a hotter range. I dont think changing your heat range is going to solve your problen unless you are burning oil then you would want to go a little hotter to help burn the oil off the plug. Or if you keep fouling your plug you may want to go hotter or check your carb. (jetting).
