Warrior slipping out of gear
#1
My warrior has a problem with slipping out of second gear, and catching 3rd gear. for some reason it always falls into nuetral when you are shifting while climbing a hill or pulling a load, and feedback?

Simple solution. Maintain pressure on the shifter whether up or down while releasing the clutch. You will feel the shifter slide a bit further as the clutch is released and it will positively lock in gear. It takes practice but will END your trouble.

I had the same problems with my 2000 warrior, my buddies both did too. I tried what mr 45auto siad, and I raised the shifter to help with the problem. No dice. It was only a problem for me on bigger hills where you had alot of load on the tranny. I ended up haveing my girlfriend almost get the damn thing to turn over on her up a big sand hill. It was sold on the following monday, replaced with her z400. Same story with both of my buddies.

Sorry I had the same problem with my girlfriends warrior. Couldn't get it to stop jumping out of gear on steep sand hills. Trust me if you add 11:1 piston and a big cam w/titanium vavle springs the new power destroys the trans. Just speeking from my luck
