AUTO TRANNY SQUEAL
#1
I've noticed I'm picking up a squeal. It usually happens when I nail the trottle taking off. Usually after I've breaked hard to a complete stop or switch from low to high range and hit the trottle. Its just a short squeal, like the belt slips only for a split second. I pulled off the rear cover of the belt housing and everything looks fine with the exception of some grey dust which I believe to be from the belt. Does anyone have any suggestions or know how to solve this? My machine only has about 260 miles on it, AC 2K auto 500.

Is it possible that the sound is the rear brakes have locked and are breaking loose. Check out my post on this, we did not believe the dealer untill we watched it from the back where we could see the brake and it does sound like a squeal. Maybe not the same thing just thought I would give you something to check.

I to have heard that squealing noise but I positive that it is the breaks sticking. Because the only time I have heard the noise, while breaking in the brakes like it says to do in the owners manual, after getting on the breaks hard and coming to a complete stop. But if I let off the breaks just before i stop I dont here the noise.
