Default A little advice

I have a 97 454 and I am not a real hardcore rider, mine is mostly used for hunting in the mountains and goofing off on the weekends. What would be one of the most beneficial performance upgrade I could do that won't break the bank? Everything on my machine is stock right now but I'm always looking to improve and upgrade. One more question, my tires are fairly worn, what would be the best tire for climbing hills and such in the winter ( I don't PLAN on driving through deep mud like most of the people on this forum, but you never know). Any ideas are greatly welcome!!

Ya id say jets from kimpex for the BST34 (cheap) the needle is movable so no need for dynojet. (not as good as dyno) and a filter. this would be the cheapest aside from cat crazys suggestion.

I just put on a set of Holeshot ATR on my wife's 2X4 and we are really liking them. It sounds like you are doing the same kind of ridding we are. They are NOT major mudders but they do very well in mud. The thing I like most is the wide footprint. When I got them in the mail, They looked really low and I was afraid I would loose ground clearance. After mounting them I placed them next to my 4X4 and they were the same height but allot wider. 6 Ply rating, and SMOOOOOTH on the trail. Check into them, I think they mite be what you are looking for.
