Highlifter Performance Kit
#1
Anybody here put that Highlifter performance kit on an AC, or any other quad for that matter. I'm not serious about getting it by any means, but I would like to know what type of a power increase it would give. Magazines have said good things about them, but then again, they say good things about a lot of crap. I would expect for $325, it would have to have some effect, otherwise it wouldn't sell. The only information I have seen is the 400 foreman that they put it on here at ATV Connection. Seems like it may have a different pipe now. The 400 was tested in 98.
Seems like it has a jet kit, filter and accessories, a pipe, and a couple other things. Quite a bit of cash, but if the power increase is really good, it might be something to consider in the future, especially with heavier tires.

Andy,
I just put a K&N on my 2000, and replaced the stock jet with a DynoJet one( of the same size) I cannot tell a great diffrence in power or speed but the quad has better throtle response and it sounds like it is running better, I plan on getting the IDS2 in the next few weeks, HighLifter said thaty the most gain will come from the pipe. and so far they have never been wrong to me.
