Well I think it is official now. May is not my month (even though it is the month of my b-day). I just got back from the E-Room. I have my right arm in a fiberglass splint an will probaly get a case in a few days. I chiped a bone in my wrist weight-lifting for football. Depending on how long I will be in the caste,I might not be able to work at the Polaris shop that I was suposed to be working for starting the day school lets out(june 2). So all I have to say now is,"whats next??????"

You may not get anybody to ride with you, workout or hangout, now! Just kidding. You should be able to work with a bad wing. I bet your father would think so. Hope you heal up soon.

TexDoc:
Man, you're right on about that part about his dad making him work. I tell you what, my dad was always kicking my butt if I somehow managed to find a way out of working. I shattered my little finger completely, and broke the second one in, in two places in a martial arts tournament once, he made me go home and squeeze tennis ***** for a week before he actually let me go to the doctor to get it looked at! Damn farmboys, I tell you. If it's farm related, duct tape and bailing wire will fix it. If yer sick, a shot of whiskey at bedtime will cure it. Sure toughens you up though.

I will tell you one thing, this will not stop me from doing anything I want do or have to do, it will just make my life alittle harder, but it's not going to stop me.

My biggest problem is thinking of a way to talk to Allen, the owner of the Polaris dealership I was suposed to work at.

Sorry to hear about your cast, that does put a damper on things. I'm sorry, I seem to have forgot what you were going to be doing for the Polaris dealer. Were you mostly in the sales department, or working as a mechanic? If you're mainly selling the machines, I don't think your arm situation would hurt your working skills at all. If you're working as a mechanic though, it may put a damper on things. If you talk to your boss, maybe he can work something out for you to make it easier till you get the cast off in a few weeks. Who knows.

Good luck, hopefully he'll understand.

Mike

I was gonna help in all of the stuff actually. I was gonna come in jurying the mornings, put a few quads outside, do things(keep place clean, work on stuff, etc.) leave at 10 am go lift weights, come back at 12:30 work till 6 pm and take quads and mowers back in.

I don't thjink he would let me sell for him because i might drive the customers away, since they would think I full of it for not owning what I sell.

you have to be a good liar to be a good salesman. Either that or be honest and have good personal skills. I talk too much to do that. I would put them to sleep and out of the mood before they ever told me what they were looking for.

Cowboy- shot of whiskey is the same as Nyquil! Pour a little honey in it and take it kid! I've heard that at camp when I was a little punk getting sick as soon as I got out there. Also WD-40. Good for coughs, colds, and sore buttholes! Ever heard that one? Thats wild that you had to squeeze that tennis ball for so long. When my dad was like 11, they were fishing in a stream in Colorado, and my Grandma got her hook hung up on a rock. It was just a damn hook too, no lure or anything that might cost something. She made my dad wade out in this water that was probably like 36-38 degrees and about 2 ft. deep to get it unhooked. My aunt saw what was up and told her to put her hand in that water. She did and found out how cold it was, and then yelled at him to get out, like he wasn't supposed to be in there to begin with. That was pretty bad I thought! Rough old granny I guess.

Andy:
You're right about that salesman bit! And, I had heard something similar about the WD-40. Kind of like Chris LeDoux's Copenhagen, good for coughs, colds, runny nose and for the ladies, makes conception a wonder, child birth a pleasure! Oops, hope I don't get in trouble for that one. Heh heh heh. Yeah, my Dad has been pretty rough before at times. I broke my back a few years ago, he said it was just my way of getting out of work, and to "cowboy up", along with a few other choice words, not suitible for public audiences. Well, when I couldn't breath, and then couldn't walk, mom decided maybe I was serious, and needed some help from the local doc. Needless to say, I did get out of work for a few days!

Boner:
If I remember right, you should be starting work here in the next couple days. Have you talked to your boss lately since the accident? Was just wondering if he was able to work something out for you. Well, good luck, hopefully you'll be making some money here soon, lord knows we all need more of that stuff. How long you been lifting? Just for fun, or football? I just started up again here a couple weeks ago. I pretty much have to lift, otherwise I can't hardly walk. Too many accidents, and getting too old I guess.

"Seventeen, Cowboy's dreams, ain't on ridin fences" ha, Chris Ledoux. I saw him at a place in Alma, AR back in 1992 when he was running up the Western Underground album. Boner has had some bad luck here I must say. If your driving through nail infested mudholes, your just "Riding for a fall".

Went to a speacilist today. He said that my wrist is not broke, justm have a chipped bone. He put me in a brace (WAY BETTER THAN A CAST) and told me to come back in 3 weeks. Said I should be able to ride in 3-4 weeks.

Work on the other hand don't sound so good. I talked to my boss(future MAYBE) and he told me that he realy can't hire me any way. With the drought we have been having noone is buying lawn mowers or breaking them and quads. So he realy has not been busy. He told me that he will call me if things pick up(if it starts raining again).

I called my Arctic Cat Dealer. I was talkin to the mechanic threw the (d!p$h!t)owner. They said my bike is tore down and they are sending the bill to the warranty comapany. I didn't ask much cause I know Wayne DON'T KNOW $$$$ about ATVS, he a boat guy. I will talk to the mechanic himself when I get a chance.

LOOKS LIKE THAT RUBBERBAND IS GOING BACKWARDS FOR ME.
