They were saying something like it was out of date and oquard to use. Sorry about the spelling. They also said it was located in a bad spot. I really hope my 4x4 switch doesn't go out. If it does im sure it will be when i need it most. But then again maybe it will never go out and i will never have a problem with it LOL.

Hi, I just joined the forums great bunch of people you all are very helpful. I've learned alot reading though these forums. I Just Bought a 2004 AC 500 4x4 Auto Awesome quad, 10in ground clearance no one can top that wonder why that TV show didn't compliment AC on that, or that the new AC's have more hauling and towing capacity than any other Model. ATVTV never has had any thing good to say about AC, but if you watch it real close you will see that they use an old AC454 for a camera bike.

WearyWonderer - I posted some pics on my profile page that show the rifle scabbard and the fishing pole tube. I made the tube out of $20 worth of black plastic plumbing stuff. I've done 200 miles of trails, roads and mountains with just wire ties holding it on - it works great so far!

Can you see me now? Apparently the pictures were pending approval. The dirty picture of the wife may have delayed it.....lol

Oh There you are...

Did you have much trouble steering around things with the extra stuff out front.. Looks like you would need at least 18 to 24 inches to not catch on the pipe and scabbard...

One thing I see, is it looks easy to get to in a hurry...

I hate that hard plastic rifle case you mount pointed back and away from you..
And to think I spent good money on that..

Not once has either the rifle scabbard or the pole tube been a factor. We' ve been on some pretty technical trails and it seems that if your getting in trouble with the tube or scabbard - your not going to make the turn and clear the fenders either.
