Dis any of you guys catch the review ATVTV did on the 500i last night? They trashed it. Kinda pissed me off too.

 

Ya i dont know why AC gets such a bad rap... its pathetic really. I personally find they make a good quad at a good price. So it dont do 65 mph... big deal. They easy to maintain, and have great reliabilty.

I missed the show, what did they have to say. I have some (not so good) comments on the Honda Rubicon.

 

You have to keep in mind that atvtv is just catering to their advertisers and their audience, which is largey adolescent boys who can't possibly afford a new quad. They want to hear that only fast machines are good ones. Heaven forbid you should buy a quad and actually take it off road...

:] I dont care what any one says, tv or not. AC makes a good quad. SO they dont line as many pockets. Big deal. And my dealer here is in a diff headspace than the other dealers ill tell you that.

They complained about the thumb throttle,4x4 shifting lever,and brakes. Gees i guess you sure can tell some people are brand loyal......Not me, as long as it's got 4 wheels it's ok in my book.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] All machines have there good and bad aspects. just have to get used to it, not many people take those shows seriously anyway (i hope).

 

I just wish someone would just have a show that shows new atv items and new quads but leave their personal preference OUT!!! No matter how they set up their "score sheets" it still comes down to personal preference!

 

That show is a joke. If you look on there website the homepage has a few manufacturer logos right there listed as a sponsor. Its stupid to have a shootout when 3 of the brands in the shootout are shelling out big bucks to sponsor the show of course they are gonna be the top finishers (arctic cat was not a sponsor) I bet if arctic cat sponsored there worthless program the cat would finish near the top instead of the bottom.
