I own a 2003 400 Auto and when I shift from 4x to 2x it clunks after 2 or so feet and finally shifts into 2x ,This only happens when I first start off into the woods , I have to shift into 4x to get over an old railroad bed . I only ride on the weekends when time permits ,so some times it sits for 7 to 14 days ,after the one time clunk it's normal ,shifts in and out with no problems . Is this normal when it sits for some time ?
