Thought it was the seal again, so i removed my left rear axle and the first thing i saw was about 2 cm of spline all the way around the shaft closest to the cv torn and angled "pointig toward rear" This was not allowing my splines to seat. It actually pushed outward causing diff fluid to leak. needless to say i was pissed being that my warranty went out 18 days ago. I called the shop,spoke with and AC rep and they have my axel waiting on me there. All i have to do is take the broke one up there. and yes it is an 04 made axle and Ac is footing the bill

how many miles on it and how much would it cost if Arctic cat wouldn't be covering it??

 

pushing 700 miles. 60 bucks and hour min. of 2 hours plus 219 for the axle.

 

That's a rip on the time the job can be done in a half hour. I should know, I've replaced 2 already.

 

My shop just wants to see the bike to make sure there wasnt any foul play so i took it up there with the axle out,showed them they said it would be 2 days, I said wheres your wrenches at? they pointed I grabbed tools had the new axle back on in about 20 mins.then i took off back home.But some of those guys have watched me grow up. We have all been ridding together for 10 or so years.
