Default 650 radiator capacity

You ones who now have your Cat 650's, could you check your owners manual & see what it states for the radiator capacity. I'm just wondering to see if the big Cat is using a bigger radiator vs the Prairie 650s, not that I ever had any problems with cooling on my P650 but when the Prairie 650 went to a 700, the radiator capacity was also increased. It would interesting to know what Cat is using in the Radiator department.

Pics from magazines seem to show a Cat radiator. I'm not sure if they use the same supplier as Kawi, however. I'm curious to know the answer to your question as well.

I agree, the pics show the same looking big radiator as found on other Cat 4wheelers but pics can be deceiving too.
The capacity on the Prairie 650 is 2.1L or 2.2 US quarts including the reserve tank at full level & engine, according to the '03 Service Repair Manual on the Prairie 650.

Hey Guys, Radiator capacities on the AC 650 from the owners manual states 1.85 U.S. quarts, 2.7L. Got mine today, what a beast. Can't wait to take it on some good trails. Getting it fully insured tomorrow. Had a new Polaris 600 SP loaded with accessories & all my trail gear
stolen & had no insurance except homeowners & they only paid me $1,000 for theft. Tough lesson for this poor boy. Hey Bruce , check your PM. Regards, Jerico1

I hear you on the Insurance, my P650 IS insured & so will be my Cat 650 as soon as I load it in the trailer to haul it back to New Mexico,USA ( for some of you who do not know that New Mexico is A State ).
I still ? the Coolant level, my figures put 2.7L at 2.85 Qts which would be .63 qts more than the Prairie 650's & the More the Better!
Entered your email in my addresses, keep'n touch & I am pleased that you did get your Cat 650, even before me!
