650 wheelies
#1
this is for those of you with the new 650,s I read in a bunch of magazine that it,s a bit hard to get the front wheels off the ground on these new 650,s well I,ve been taking easy on mine and noticed that the front sure likes to come off the ground quite often maybe not on the start off but at 10 miles an hour if I punch it I have to watch because the front end comes right up and it,s worse going up a moderate hill climb I was out with my wife today riding double when I decide to go over hill in a feild half way up I nailed it I had to quickly stand on it because I was sure we were going over and boy did I get $$%%%^## from my wife I was told that the front wheels were about4 feet off the ground know I didn,t expect this from this machine because it is as heavy as my 500 ac and putting on my big outlaws on this machine might warant a set of wheely bars. any remarks please post.

You can moderate how easily the front end comes up by increasing the tension on the rear springs. The independant rear will squat under load either due to cargo/passenger or when you goose it(or both in your case). So if you play with the setting you should be able to come up the right combination of ride and stability.

I had the spring allthe way max out already and 5 lbs of air in the tires but it still likes to pop up I noticed today when I WENT TO CHANGE THE STOCK TIRES TO THE OUTLAWS THAT the front tires weigh hardly anything Ithink thats why it climbs so much after putting the 28x12.5x12 outlaws in the front it might change but because of the hefty grip in the back it might be worse but at least i,ll be having fun playing
