I am a Cat and Suzuki dealer. We sell tons of LTZs/DVX. The parts in the DVX engine are exactly the same. 100 % excatly. Stock gearing on pavement on radar a LTZ will run 68mph .

 

yes they are the exact same motors. they both come from the same factory, use all the same parts and specs, they are the same chasis too.

 

whats your problem man...just because someone has a question doesn't mean you should hate them about it...the main reason why i wanna know is because i wanted to know if i could get z400 parts for the dvx now i know i can

 

Just to prop up motohead a bit here - I can attest to the fact that it's 100% the same except for bodywork and the location of the reverse swich. I just 2 weeks ago pretty much completely dis-assembled my DVX and installed all the Yosh stuff for the Z400. It all bolts right up including the internal engine stuff.

 

SAME EXACT QUAD, just different plastics...i know this for a FACT...dad works for atv dealer. own a DVX also...top speed close to 80..i was riding next to my friends car and he hit cruise at 80 and thats where i was topping out...belive it or not i dont care just dont give me sh it cuz i'm not some jack@ss trying to lie

 

lol.. kid i am sorry but i am calling BS on this one. your dvx isnt faster than a raptor, predator, banshee, yfz450, trx450, or a ds650.
i raced my buddies piped z-400 on my stock pred and handed him his a$$ every time, and i dont go 80.

hey just back off a little bit...i'm sorry i thought i mentioned that it isnt stock...i dont know anything about engines...my father did the upgrades and i have no idea what they were i know it cost a couple grand out of my pocket...the only thing i know for sure is that he raised the teeth in the sprocket for a higher top speed....sorry to **** you peeps off but i forgot to say it wasnt stock....hopefully this is cleared up now
