grimus, how bad is the frame buckeld? my 300 was in an accident and the front end was really pushed out of shape. i took it to a welding shop and they did an excellent job getting it back into alinement and it only cost $90. a new frame was going to run about $300 so i thought it was a worth while.

hello racnooc! i was going to do this but they said it wasn't safe. i told them it's not like i drive it on the street. the frame shop thinks other wise. so i'm going with another frame. i called the dealer they said $500. how do you like the wheels on your 300? what size wheel is a good one to stick with on the 300?

Grimus, wheels size for the 300 depends mainly on what you plan on doing with it. i have 26" outlaws on all the cornersof my AC300. this is not recomended because there needs to be a 1" difference between the front and rear tires. to help me compensate for this i have my back tires aired up more than the front. is it an inch difference i dont know but it has held together for almost 2 years that way so it is working for me. the reason i went with the 26" tires is because i ride 80% of the time in the mud. so i wanted a top line mud tire and nothing was really that great (imo) in a 25" so i opted for the 26". the good thing abotu the AC300 is that it has the high, medium and low range so it can spin the mud tires in 1 low with no trouble. the bad thing is the top end speed suffers. i dont even bother with high 5th anymore it is usless but then the 300 is not made for speed anyway. the tire clearence is not an issue either. i wish i would have gone with a 27" tire in the back and the 26" in the front. but if you dont run in the mud allot but want to go up a size then 26" in the back and 25" in the front would not be a bad way to go. as for what kind of tire i think gators, bugs, bearclaws, 589,or dirtdevils. any of these would be good for an all around tire. as for likeing the outlaws they are incredible in the mud i have been more than pleased with how they work in the mud. out of the mud that is another story. in sand and loose gravel the dig your grave in a second. trail rides the ride is rough and the handeling is fair. but like i said once they get in the mud there is no stopping them. good luck on the frame issue
