Starting up the CAT
#31
30 something degrees and you're in awe that it started? 75% of my riding is done under 30 degrees. I take my Polaris ice fishing all season long w/ no problems if it sat for an hour or a week. No offense but, I'd put more faith in my quad than that.

It wasn't so much that I didn't have faith in it, it was more like I was proud of it. As you know AC's aren't the oldest quad on the market so I didn't know how it would handle it's first bit of cold weather, especially with it going a couple of weeks with out starting it. Yes I do have plenty of faith in my AC. I love it. I would chose it over any out there.(Don't quote me on this). I have more faith in this bike than any I have ever ridden on.

Where did the notion that Polaris quads
are hard to start in the cold come from.
I can only comment from my own experience.
I have been pleasantly surprised that my
Magnum (98-425) starts so easily when
cold. Half choke, hit the button, drive off.
I only use the choke for 15 seconds or so.
It runs great in the cold.

My uncle ownes a 97 400 sportsman and it is very hard to start and stay running. I wasn't refering to all Polaris. I was using a Polaris 2 stroke bike as an example. You Polaris owners like to jump to conclusions a little too quick. I was using it as an example. I know other bikes are hard to start in the cold so lets not worry about it.
