I bought a 2000, 500 auto a few months ago. The dealer told me about an AC brake problem. It is actually a master cylinder problem. Basically, if your resevoir on the MS is black, it is the good one. If it is white, it is bad. Something to do with the plunger doesn't work properly. I hope this helps.
