I was wondering if you offer a hi-torque cam for an Arctic Cat 500 (ATV). It has a 87.5mm bore with an 82mm stroke.

I believe WebCam is one of the two-and-only single cylinder cam grinders in business today. I vouch for their service: hard-welding and grinding my cam in less than a week turnaround, coast-to-coast. Also, they pressed a bearing upon request. Total cost, including shipping, was less than a replacement OEM cam cost. A good house. By the way: what is their telephone number and E-mail address? Man I just ordered the Highlifter Kit. I wonder if I should get the cam as well. Never done any wrenching on an ATV engine.How complicated is the cam to install etc... Could be a hot set up.

 

hey will it fit the 400 and how much more power will it give you also what else do you have to do with it new pistions or what

 

The cam SHOULD FIT, but will the settings be good for the smaller motor?

How about you get the performance kit then if you want even more power, then get the cam.

I know you will want more power, but could you hold out and get just the Power kit for the rest of us so we can hear if it is worth the money?

 

I ordered the Power Kit last weekend and am waiting anxiously for it's delivery.Unfortunately I won't be able to put it on till after the July 4th holiday due to my work schedule. I have already talked to a friend of my uncles,that rebuilds motorcycle engines,he said he would be glad to put the cam in the motor for a case of beer. He does live about 4 hours away,but hey beer is cheap. Almost too good to pass up.
