Hi about a month ago I opened up my Quad and it maxed out at 61 mph and I took it out yesterday and it only got up to 49 mph. Where did my speed go. What should I be checking for???? Thanks...

 

is the temp outside colder now, ive noticed that i have lost soem top end now that it has gotten colder

 

Rig should get faster with cold weather, no s;ower. Denser air into cylinder makes more power not less. Fuel could be your problem, what grade are you running. Winter fuel is a lot different from sumer gas. I step up a grade during winter. What rig are you running. Also check air filter, dirty ones really hurt preformance.

 

I think my problem is that its jsut to damn cold to be going that fast so im not opening it up like i did in the summer
