Shame on Arctic Cat
To get away from what everybody is talking about and back to this mans point. I think arctic cat should really reconsider what they are doing. Yes the exposure is great in the chain store (gander mountain) AC is not the only company in there. Bombardier is there too , at least at my nearby Gander Mountain in Harrisburg , Pa but only one problem , I purchased my 03 Trv from Reading Boat Works the first month they came out for 6700 with winch installed and all the other little things some charge extra for(frieght, prep, set-up ,winch installation ex.) my dealer also gives me 10% + off on parts and acc. From what I have seen at Gander Mountain you wouldnt get any of that and the bare bike is like 7200-7300 , thats no deal in my book and the service, what service?? some guy they hire off the street , doesnt ride the machines or know anthing about them . All he wants is a sale and a commision. AC should stick with the little guy.

Shame on Arctic Cat
I purchases two machines in the 6 months. I went to Gander both times and they could not answer the majority of my questions. They did not let people test drive machines (burnsville location) so I was not impressed. How can you tell the difference in performance between a 500 and a 650 unless you ride it. I purchase a lot of my hunting gear from their stores but I will not purchase an ATV from them. My dealers starting price was the same as Ganders and he even went down an extra $125.00. I don't think my dealer makes much on the machine. He makes his money on accessories and service. I think having Arctic Cats in Gander will give the brand more exposure and in the end the small dealer will profit because service, service, service is what matters in the end.
