Questions from new 650 owner.

Wires, I had the dealer check mine and he did find it to be loose. ( He adjusted it before I took delivery ) I'm keeping my fingers crossed !!

I also put in the black secondary spring. I found with tightening the belt and installing the spring, the engine breaking is amazing. Before it was non-existant in H. Now, it brakes as good in H as it did in L before.

The only thing you need to watch is when your crawling over logs and stuff. Make sure it's in L to reduce the chance of the belt slipping. Also, reverse is high gear as well, so be careful if you get stuck, and throw it into reverse, and pin it. You will smoke the belt. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Questions from new 650 owner.

'04 Service Manual for the Cat 650 States:

OIL CAPACITY: 2.17 qts.

As I stated earlier, I drained-out 2.4 qts & that is exactly what I put back in. On my next Oil change, I will see where the oil reads on the dip stick at the 2.17 Qts.

I put in 2.4 qts to get to the full mark.
