What tires do you recommend?
These factory tires are not that good. I rode in the snow last night and they were like skis. I was having a hard time keeping up with the Kawi 400's with dirt tires. Maybe it was the snow I have not had it on anything else. What tire and how much from where? Thanks!

they're blems but who cares, we scratch em up anyway, you can get 589's to your door for 200/4. 489's to your door for 140/4.

For aggressive stuff, it's usually ITP 589's or GBC Gators. Both are awesome, and depending on which you own, you'll say it's the best tire ever.
The Mudlites are supposed to be good, but tend to wear fast due to a softer compound.
I switched from OEM to GBC Dirt Devils. They are supposed to be better on hard packed than 589's and Gators, but not quite as good in the nasty traction stuff.
Mind you, with the Devils, I couldn't find anywhere that it would get stuck. If it did rest on the belly, I could get off and walk it out (in snow). Traction on ice was nothing less than freaking amazing! When I loaded it on the truck last time, the back alley was a sheet of glare ice, and a Chinook was causing it to meld (so it was really slick). You couldn't walk on it, but the Devils did an amazing job gripping it. I was super impressed!
My buddy has Gators, so I'm eager to see how they work side by side (the Devil's have a cooler looking tread though.
