My cat is experiencing quite a front end wobble, when driving on hard pack and in high gear. Can anyone advise me on how to align the front wheels?
Is there a way to center the front bars? The other
day while trail riding my front tire caught the side of a tree, causing the handle bars to be a bit out of kilter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The second day home with my new AC400 4x4 I noticed that the front tires looked pigeon-toed. I adjusted them by driving into the garage with the handle bars straight then aligned the fronts by sight. That is when they looked parallel to the rear tires I quit adusting the tie rods. This seemed to work ok. The fastest I have driven it since is 35 on a gravel road, no problems. I'm not going to push it faster till it is broke in more. The only tricky part to adjusting the tie rods was making sure both tie rod ends were rotated the same so they don't get into a bind when the suspension & steering go through their range of motion.

Jett, about a month ago or so I asked just about the same question on this forum & received some great tips for lining up your front end. Click the drop down arrow on the top right of the main AC page and select topics from the last 2 months & look for front end alignment. Lance

Thanks for the info CatLance. I knew my method wasn't too good, but I knew a couple of inches of toe out wasn't good either.

Another thing to look for before adjusting the is make sure the tierods are tight where they go through the steering knuckle and the steering post. I have seen them loose on my 454 1 time and 2 twice on the 500.. I asked the shop guy at the local dealer and he says he sees it pretty often .... Bill
