I just purchase a 2004 AC 400 Manual shift. I paid $7600 + tax CDN for it. That includes a 2 year warranty and a winch. I haven't picked the bike up yet but I'd like to know if this is a good deal or not. Any info you guys would provide would be great. Thanks in advance

Is that about 5500US? Not bad. You will love it, my friend won one last year in a raffle and it rides real good and it has a wide stance for stability. If you plan on putting more aggressive tires I would recomend wider mud flaps, the stock ones throw enough mud onto the rider as it is. It has lots of low end torque with the first two gears, great for going over obstacles or pulling trailers up hills and it is pretty fast too. Like we tell alot of people in here, it is not our opinion on wether you got rip off it is wether you feel comfortable with the deal and it seems like one I could get some sleep over at night, so don;t worry and enjoy. I am assuming this is your first quad or you would know of the price is good or not, if so welcome to the very expensive and habit forming hobby.AlaskaBoy.

I just calculated it out to be 5533 U.S. funds. This is a real nice deal, i paid 5100 for my 2003 500 last july

 

Thanks to everyone who responded. Alaskaboy had it right. This is my first wheeler. I'm having a bit of buyers remorse [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] But let's hope that changes when I finally get it! The dealership is backlogged. I've been waiting 2 weeks for the darn thing.

Hi there,you will be glad with your new purchase.Sorry to say though I think that you get not get a great deal at all.IN N.S you can get a 04 400 for 6700 plus tax and a winch.I think you either paid for the warrenty or the winch along with install.I can get a 650 for 9500 here plus tax, just to show you the differance.I guess it is good to live in the martimes . keep the rubber side down.

 

a new 650 here in bc is $10500 cdn.

 

Is that 10500 before or after tax?
