Default Will 12s rub in the rear?

I have a 300 4x4 with independent suspension front and rear. I would like to switch to 26x12x12s in the back, and 25x10x12s in the front. This is one size up all around from what came on it factory. Will I have problems with rubbing? Should I stick to a 10" wide tire in the rear too? Also, what is the 5+2, 2+5 offset mean? That's listed when you look at wheels online and I don't know what that means. Thanks for the help in advance guys.

Keep the same diameter tires on front to rear, unless it came otherwise. In otherwords, 26's all around. The gearing will be wrong and you;ll put stress on the drivetrain if it didn't come that way.

Yeah, I thought that was probably the case, since they asked the question!! That's why I said 'unless it came that way' !!

Carry on all !!!

Thanks

So are you guys sure that I'll mess up my ATV if I use the same diameter tires front and back? Cause I can't find any aftermarket tires that are 24" diameter for a 12" wheel. Most people use 25" tires all around, but mine didn't come that way. I don't know what to do.

hey listen here i have 26-12-12 mud lites on the back and put the 25's on that were on the rear on the front

it works with no probs.

remember the a/c 300 has a 1 inch bigger tire in the rear than the front also remember try to stay with the same tire maker because all tires arn't the same size that they say they are

Does going up to 26 X12x12 rear and 25 x10x12 front affect the power of the AC 300? It would be nice to have more ground clearance, but it seems like the bike is geared properly now. Also, how about the ride? The Mudlites have good reviews, I am thinking about upgrading when the original Titan 489's wear out.

power is ok you can get up to 40mph plus a bit on hard packed roads . the real question is how fast do you drive through the woods on trails and in the mud. you dont need speed there you need good touque to get you through. i keep up or leave my freind behind and he has a a/c 400 auto so power isn't every thing.
