Correct, the 371cc "400's" were water cooled. The new 376cc "400's" are not.

Huh, that's weird. My friend and his friend both bought ACs at the same time, one a 500 and the other a 400. He swears that both are water cooled. That's where I got my info. Maybe he's looking at the oil cooler and thinks it's water.

Wierd no, Funny YES!

I had a friend buy an 400 in December and he was going on and on about how it was the best water cooled 4x4 he has ridden in awhile. I told him good, but its not water cooled and he did not believe me. So I asked him to find out where to put the water in at?

He gave it a good look and scratched his head and discovered that it was a oil cooled not water cooled. So its common to confuse the two.
