How does the new dvx wheelie compared to the honda 400ex? it seems to beat the honda in every way. the stock HP of the honda is 26.9, what is the stock of the DVX. Also does anybody have a aftermarket exhaust on there DVX.. Would like to hear reviews.. thanx...Thinking about trading in my 400ex.. SHould I do it?

I don't know the horsepower number, but I have rode them and they are faster than the ex. Yoshi makes the tri-oval exhaust and it works very well. I would trade simply because the DVX has reverse, very nice feature.

the advantages of the dvx are liquid cooled, DOHC, its lighter, it has more power, it has reverse, and i think (dont quote me cuz i might be wrong) the suspension travel is a little more, but maybe not that last one....and my neighbor has one and i can wheelie alot longer than he can, but hes just scared to pull it up all the way, but my guess is, more power, easier to hold a wheelie up.

Only 1 or 2 more horse than a ex, but it rev's a lot faster. Both are wheelie kings. The dvx takes less rider work to get the front end up, though, IMO. Just blip the throttle, and it's walking on two wheels. The balance point on a dvx is way back there though. Your grab bar will only be about 4-6 inches off the ground depending on your height and weight.

to hang long wheelies i go all the way back on my 400ex. i think im defintly gonna get the dvx.. with jets and apipe that engine is fast. i want more power. and the liquid cooled.. i just wanted to make sure it had a good balance point.. i found a dealer that has them for $5150.. best price ive heard so far
