I Allways thought that box was for warming lunch or sandwitches. Its not big enough on my KQ or 500QR to be of any other use, Especially with it located directly over the exhaust pipe. I solved the problem similar to Army Man. A 50 caliber ammo can with two retrival magnets inside. Set the can anywhere on the rack and thats where it stays. (Hello Army Man, Been a long time)

No my friend, that is the MAX's job. He can carry the crap while the others go and have fun.

I haven't ever had a problem with my useless compartment leaking, and my pigtail sticks out on the right side a long ways. Yours must be short or something. Maybe that day, the AC factory was running short on wire, and had to make them shorter or something.
