Default 650 drive belt on warranty

I was just wandering if anyone has had the belt on there650 changed on warranty yet I have to bring my bike in I smoke the belt pretty bad this weekend . I was pulling a small utility trailer through the alphalpha field, very wet though, and maybe 400 lbs on it and the belt started to smoke got the machine and trailer home and went for a ride and she only goes up to about 40 miles an hour now and sounds like something isn,t right in that belt case.

have you had your cat back to the dealer as the cat belt is set too loose from the factory
had mine tightened and the belt stopped slipping.

nope had talked to my dealer about it at the beginning when it started and they never said anything but I dropped it of tonight with a list of things that need to be done. GAVE him my newly acquired bill of sale for the extended warranty I bought told him to fix it and told him the belt was shot and I wasn,t gonna pay for the next belt to make the warranty pay for it.

Good luck getting it warranteed. In the AC dealer book it states drive belts are not covered under warranty. Also on the extended warranty (after the factory 6 month warranty) get ready to pay a $50.00
deductable for the repairs on the machine.

Manmudcat,
I hope you do get your belt warranteed, I was just stating what the dealer book read. Also do
you know if the 4 year plan has the deductable? It should be written in your warranty paperwork
somewhere.

YEAH IT DOES HAVE THE FIFTY DOLLAR DEDUCTIBLE but fifty bucks is nothing when the rates are hitting the 80 dollars an hour range
