I am going to wait until I can test ride them one right after the other to see which one I like the most.

My next bike is the new H1, just for the motor and tranny combination. Not to mention the look of it

I won't be buying another 650 or larger cc ATV until Artic Cat comes out with a fuel injected model. I really like what I have now so much that I am content to stay with that until fuel injection is added. I must admit, the new 2005 models sure look nice. But, fuel injection will make them faster and jetting will no longer be an issue. That is the way of the future. I hope they get on the ball. You know, Artic Cat has had fuel injection on their snowmobiles for years. I think they have the knowledge and expertise to put it in an ATV.

I think vhcat400i has the right idea, wait to ride it and then make the decision.
I sure hope Cat hits a home run with it, and that the motor holds together.

No kidding, Arctic Cat can put EFI on 2-stroke snowmobiles over 10 years ago, but can't get in on their ATV's??? What's up with that???

Your local dealer should have brochures in by now. We got ours yesterday.

The H1 sounds cool, but I don't see it being a better engine than the Kawasaki V-twin. From the sound of things, its going to be tuned for low end torque, and its not like the v-twin has any shortage of that. Jesus, 250's used to pull us around, and nowdays you hear somebody utter something like "the rincon is low on power". Yeah right, compared to something else, but by itself, none of them are bad by any means.

The V-twin has had a little edge over all of the other single cylinders so far, so I doubt this is any different. Plus its a first year engine from a manufacturer who hasn't been making them, so who knows. But it does sound cool of course. I'm assuming the chassis remains the same of course, so the only difference is the engines. I'll take the V2 if I'm buying.

Unless future reports show the H1 to be the best (because in all our hearts, we really want it to be).
