I don't own either one but I thought you would find this interesting. I have a friend that works at a farm equipment dealer that is looking into selling quads also. He went to several dealers that sold either one brand or both to ask them how the brands compare. He was told that if you want to sell quads that never come back, then sell Arctic Cats. If you want to keep your service and parts department busy then sell Polaris. There going to sell Arctic Cat. Thought you would like this.

You must lead a charmed life, getoutofmyway!

Ordinarily, a post like yours seems akin to shinnying up the lightning rod atop the Empire State Building during a thunderstorm.

Mercifully, you draw no flaming . . . yet!

I know, I know but as you can see I'm not partial to any one manufacturer. If I had a couple more kids then I would have an Arctic Cat and also a Polaris to keep it company. HA! Well maybe not a Polaris.

I have a new Polaris 500 sportsman which I have had no problems with. It is incredibly comfortable on rough terrain. I did some cosmetic damage last year when I flipped it. Got all parts within a week. Try that with some of the japanese brands. I thought parts were reasoonably priced. I looked at AC and I liked them but the polaris had everything I wanted. I have had no problems. I think all atv's have good and bad points.

I thinks all of the atv bashing should be spent working to get the tree hugger politicians out of office before owning an atv is looked upon like owning a gun

Now actually this is a funny post, my dealer sold Honda, Polaris and Arctic Cat he sold his Arctic Cat franchise due to the large amount of break downs and warranty work and mad owners. The people who bought The AC dealership sold it within two years. Same reason. (I should say my old dealer I moved 2 hours north)

And dealers need the revenue of repairs and upkeep it is a big part of there profits. So if they never came back, the dealer had better have other irons in the fires to make money, sales alone would not keep a dealer in business. Same with cars and trucks.

Very true while we argue amungst ourselves they Tree huggers are working very hard to keep anyone off land, not just atvers but campers , mountain bikers, they all have to worry, thet do not even like people being able to buy land and build homes in the outskirts of towns. I work at a media company and I read allot of stories on enviro ***** it is scary, vote in GWB for president, Al Gore, will have us not even being able to start our atv's on our own land.
