Default Thoughts on Dirt Devils for my A/C

I posted this over in the tire and suspension forums but I thought I would copy it over here for some additional input since I got the thought stuck in my head to change tires from fell A/Cers with the same little problem.

I am looking for some 6 ply tires to put on my all time 4x4 AC to replace the stock 2 ply 489's. I use the quad off road in mud but the majority of the time I am on hard/semi hard pack. One of the big uses for my Quad is car shows and pit use. In other words, pavement. I want a 6 ply based on info seen here to help ease stearing and lessen side wall roll on these hard surfaces. I had all but decided on mudlights but then shifted to Titan 489 XT due to excelent reports in terms of use in mud and smooth ride on hard pack.

I then came accross a local guy selling Dirt Devils (Xt's and AT's) at a good price. They are 6 ply as well from what I can determine. Both treads looks similar to a 489 or a Mudlight. Any one out there who has them with an opinion on ride anw wear? I like the XT but I bet the less agressive AT would better suite my desire for a smooth ride.

Brent

the gators are a sweet tire and so are the dirt devils.
but dont go any bigger then 26" in size or youll start to brake things shortly after you buy them.
thay are a heavy tire and it takes alot of power to keep them spinning and the cat just dosent have that kind of power for any bigger size.
