just ordered a set of 26" bearclaws for my 04 400 gear, Will I feel any big loss in power. How about a diffrence in mud/ sand/ rocks/ snow over my stock badlands?

Thanks

Had a set of 26" Bearclaws on my Foreman 450.. lost a few mph on the top end, otherwise ok. Put a second snorkel on it, K&N air filter, Supertrapp slip-on muffler, and rejetted it.. Wow!! Made it into a whole new quad.

Just put a set of 26" B.C.'s on my AC 650, made a world of difference! So much better than those stock Goodyear p.o.s.'s. Ride and handling much improved, works great in mud and on the trail. All in all, a great tire.

I've mulled around tires for a long time (and I still don't need them bad enough to force a decision), and I'm still up in the air myself. One part of me wants another light *** tire like a Badlands or Holeshot, and the other wants something with a better tread pattern for all around trail (no mud, just an occasional mud hole in the way). Bearclaws are extremely appealing too.

My deal is I wonder how much a 26" or 27" is going to lug my Grizz down. I know how much the 27" claws do, but they are a lot heavier. When I put the stockers on, its a heck of a lot quicker. I want to still keep that, but get a little clearance edge while getting a good tread pattern, mainly something for climbing.

This will be a great thread for me to keep an eye on. I will soon be bying new tires for my 04 500i and Im looking at the 26" Bear Claws or the 26" Dirt Devils. I would love to see a comprehensive report from Raffica on his new Claws and from Kawasaskirules on his new Dirt Devils.

First Im interested in how the 26" tire effects power from the Cats stock 25". Then I would love to hear how they perform for you guys for all around use.

Keep us posted..........
