AC400 '04 vs '05
#1
I guess the remaining 04 AC ATVs can be had for about $500 less than the '05 as they are arriving. I know the dash is better on the 05s... what are the other differences. I wouldnt mine saving a few bucks, on the other hand, this probably purchase is something I have been waiting a long time to make... and I plan of having this machine a long time - so I want to like it.

The diff-locker is nice and for $500 more! What are you waiting for?
Another thing to remember is that the speedo is electronic. If you end up storing it out side the electrical connections won't last long and then the real fun begins. Lots of hondas around where I am at with electronic stiff and it last about 1 year and its junk. Not sure how the AC electronic speedo will hold up but I believe they are all made in Japan (isn't everything electronic?)

I'd take the digital speedometer over the analog all day. The analog is super optimistic and I used to have to tighten the cable on mine like once every couple months. Always came loose for some reason. Plus, the digital just has some more cool features.
