I could feel the clutch slipping on my 2003 500 and attempted to adjust. The book says to turn screw one counter clock wise until it stops.
When I do that there is a clicking sound and the screw does stop but if you put a little more pressure on it it will turn and click again.
I have a Kawasaki 400 and the clutch adjustment is about the same except there is no clicking sound and its a smooth turning of the screw. Sooo (after all of that) is it normal to hear the clicking sound and hard turning???? Don't want to do anything that would break this cause I love the machine!!
