we want some more power, but we cant have it be loud, we are using this quad for hunting

 

if you are that desperate for more pony's you can do one of a couple things get a 650 or else i am sure they make a big bore kit for the 500 with new piston and jugs and everything maybe highlifter even has it cause it sounds like you want a 4x4 utility atv that has the power like a lightweight sport bike

 

i said we already bought it......... wat can we do besides big bore? - its not that important for my dad to have it fast, but it is for me.

how fast u think it will go once it is broken in?? im guessin 50?? maybe?? heh...

Put a Dynotjet Kit in the carb. That'll give you about 2.4 hp (about 50-60 bucks)

Put a K&N filter in. May give you 1/2 hp. (in the 35-45 dollar range)

Drill your stock muffler (do a search in the AC forum to get the info). Not sure about the HP gain but they say it'll wake up the midrange in the bike. (free)

That'll be about it without getting too far in your pocket.

The 500 should go 55 with no problems on stock tires. Some have reported higher speeds.
