Put a deposit down on the 650 today and should get it by the middle of the week. I think I got a pretty killer deal too at $7045 for a 2005 model with winch. Most other dealerships seemed to only want to go about $200 over what I paid and the place I got it happens to be just down the road. Oh yeah...and they'll deliver it for me at no cost 'cause it's just easier for them!

Can't wait to take it out. Also planning to get some Gator's, a Moose plow, hand and engine warmers, and a cover. If anyone knows a good on-line place to get that cheap, please let me know. Also, if anyone could tell me about how much a used trailer (for 2 atvs) would cost, I'd appreciate it.

thanks again!

Sounds like a good deal to me. You'll love that machine. I've had no problems with my '04 whatsoever, and have had no problems with my 375, either, other than a recall fix for ball joints. That '05 has a great look to it.

Plenty of room to the sides for snow. I live in MA, so definitely get our share of snow. Hopefully the ATV will work ok and won't take hours, but I guess we'll see. The blower sounds great, but at 3-4k, I could pay someone to plow my driveway for years.

Any more opinions on pusing snow (either side) would be appreciated...
We have 1/4 mile of driveway and a small parking lot size asphalt pad in front of the shop to clear. Also have a Ford Model 1920 4x4 tractor with a blade to use. I prefer to use my cat with the blade to clear the snow. I can do it in about a third the time and have better results. Set the blade angle to straight, run up to the wall or door in front of the shop, drop it and back up. Pull that snow back far enough to get a pattern going across the lot and you can clear it in no time. I run up the sidewalks and do the same. Don't even have to use a shovel. When I have huge piles of snow I'll sometimes use the diesel tractor to move the big piles if I have to. But, if I had to settle on one it would be the Cat to move the snow.

By the way, if you get a blade for the cat, don't run slow down the driveway. Let 'er rip! Once down the middle and then clear the sides. Works great.

good luck.

Don't listen to people like "700vtwinman" who come on this site and say things like "My friend has an AC500 and it is always in the shop". When it comes to ATV's the people who actually own them are the ones to listen too, not the people who talk about "their friend that has one". No offence 700vtwinman, I usually love your posts but have seen you yourself talk about how dumb comments like that are.

I can't speak for the BF or the Grizz, but my family has never had a problem with the Cats, other then something that was caused by stupidity! I love the looks of the 2005's, the ground clearance, 2 yr waranty, suspension travel, receiver hitch, and the new MRP racks, those could be very usefull

GOOD LUCK!!!
Hey catterman....my bad. I was just venting because he was bashing the brute force with not enought data out there. I do have a friend that has the AC650 and he has had troubles with it, but probably most of the problems he has had has come from the way he treats it and not from the quality itself. I have riddin it and it is an awsome quad. I really like the new look of the AC's. I just hope they eventually start building all of their motors, that way everything is AC. Anyway, sorry for the bad post.

what i have found out is that if you have an area that isn't to close to any tree's or where the snow can pile up about 3 to 4 feet deep and you can get to it right away using the atv is probably more simple then firing up the tractor and i haven't heard anything bout the brute force but the grizz is a good machine and i love my 650 cat but when it comes to snow i got the front wheel assist tractor already started to feed hay so i could just as well use the big snowblower on that it is quicker but for your needs i think any of them would do well

For what its worth, Blowers run around $2500, if you buy the motor from Northern Tool separately.

Does anybody know where you can get a gas engine powered blower that you can pull behind an ATV to blow leaves off of driveways and yards?
