moose plow
Sad part is, I got my winch in today to finally be able to use the plow and just don't have the time to install it. Looks pretty intimidating actually. I'm sure it will take hours and hours to install. Anyone have experience putting the winch on an 05 650? How long does it take? Also, do I need anything besides the installation kit? The first page of instructions mentions the mounting plate, but I'm not sure if that's already on the ac or if I need to go buy it?
Can't wait to get it together...hopefully before we get more snow

Got the winch in and the plow on today. Not too difficult and pretty nice setup. Trying to keep the speed under 50 when the plow is hitting the ground Now I just need to call the plow guy to tell him I won't be spending 75 a shot for plowing this year...

Hey millsd;
Are you the same millsd as in hilifter?
If so, I was looking at your plow pictures in their forum. One thing I noticed, your plow angle pin came backwards, same as mine. The lever you pull to angle the plow is supposed to be bent towards the pin, giving you grip & leverage when you pull on it. The assembly drawing showed mine that way, so I took that assembly apart and reversed the angle bar before I installed the plow. It makes it much easier to adjust the plow angle. Otherwise when you pull on the pin, your hand can slide right off.
If your not the guy from hilifter, sorry to bother you.
